The Best Places

To Dine!

The culinary capital of South Africa, Cape Town (and the greater Western Cape) showcases the country’s best and brightest foodie talent. The local foodie scene here is vibrant, eclectic and oh so impressive. In fact, the vast majority of South Africa’s best and top-rated dining establishments are all located within the province, included the Test Kitchen, the restaurant consistently ranked as the best in Africa.

From low-key and budget-friendly cafes and eateries to ultra-luxe fine dining restaurants, Cape Town has it all. Whatever your individual taste and flavour profile, there’s a Cape Town foodie spot to satisfy your foodie carvings. Indeed, so many world-class and celebrated restaurants abound throughout the peninsula, it would be tricky to list them all here. While we’re always happy to assist in booking you a table at any spot around the Western Cape, our love for all things local makes us want to celebrate the best spots within a 5-10km radius of Ocean’s Echo exclusive guest house and luxury villa.
